Dancing the sweet dance of success!

Total AF-wordcount: 19722!

I've finally gotten C'zar and Cela out of that damned cave, even if it took a larvae-monster, a lot of bleeding wounds and a headlong chase through a forest to do so! Also, C'zar's gotten over his silly habit of calling Cela "the woman". He hasn't referred to her that way in at least a few paragraphs; he's shaping up.

I'm starting to see what he might be a little in love with her; she doesn't run around headless, she does the job that's in front of her and she will do what she has to do even if no one asks her to. Or maybe it's because she's a swearing pyromaniac with an apple-obsession. Hard to tell, really.

In other news, I turn 18 today! We celebrated yesterday, but I got most of my presents today. Now, I'm the proud owner of several Last Exile DVDs, Howl's Moving Castle (Oh, squee! Miyazaki-movies!), the first five episodes of Cowboy Bebop and Steven Brust's Book of Taltos. As well as assorted swag.

Most awesome present: My great grandfather's vest from 1920. Antique clothing! Eee!
