LOL... it's been forever since I actually completed a sewing project that wasn't just a repair job. I've had things cut and ready to got and for a while it seemed like I was collected fabric instead of making things but I got the Bright, Bold, Batik Butterfly skirt done last night and it is now the most colorful garment in my closet not counting ( Read more... )

So I've found a new hobby/obsession... Stand Up Paddle Boarding and it's all sorts of just what I needed and goes along nicely with my Yoga practice since I can do Yoga on the paddle Board.

So I woke up an hour earlier then usual with ideas running rampant in my brain... I had to get up and dig out the sketch book I've been using as a lap desk and my colored pencils. I started a new painting, it's from an old sketch... I figured it needed to be finished so I refreshed my pallet, found my water color brushes, I need to replace a fan brush and a few of the tiny ones, it's not easy here.
