Uroboros and solving the puzzle

I have to say that I am pretty much impressed or rather taken aback by the track list of "Uroboros". It sounds very different to the "sound" ( just how the words melt into your mouth and brain, I mean) then the ones before. It sounds somehow exactly like they announced it. A bit more mystical, back to the roots and deep-down dugging into the layers ( Read more... )

Ok, I know most of this is echoed elsewhere, but here is what I know/think about the titles. (NOTE: my japanese is based off of nothing, I heard them elsewhere)

Sa Bir: No earthly idea, I'm told it opens with an SE, "concieved sorrow"-esque?

Vinushka: word on the street is that it's some Hindi phrase for "deciever", which I think is a stunning concept for Kyo to run with.

Red Soil: I've heard this song, and it owns...HARD. not sure what it's about, what english there is is kinda garbled. It's hard to describe, it's kind of angry, but theres a certain..."bounce" to it? We also hear some of the "new instruments" that Kaoru talked about.

Doukoku to sarinu: I think it's a pretty way of saying goodbye, like; "So long, and goodnight"

Toguro is snake coil.

I feel I need to say something about glass skin. My original interpetation of the title and lyrics was that the skin of someone could be a metaphor for face value and that you can see right through some peoples 'skin'. A freind offered in contrast that it could mean that humans are fragile, which works wonderfully too. (just food for thought.)

"Stuck Man" is tricky, but I heard that being "stuck" can be a term for being really high/drunk, but it could just mean that youre trapped.

"reiketsu...." could possibly mean "Let them be cold blooded", which could be the guilt theme that Kao talked about.

"Ware,..."; "I walk into darkness" or "I, into darkness" ?_?

A "bugaboo" causes fear or worry. I like the idea of a childhood monster too, it could be a really...er...creepy piece (Maybe ASoM-like?)

"Gaika..." could be : "Victory, silence is time for sleep". Like accomplishing a personal goal, and then taking a long rest?

Dozing Green: i think that its about being influenced. "I'm mezmerized by those eyes..." "My breathing stops, my heart beats...", need I go on?

Inconvienient Ideal: No idea, I'm hoping it'll be a more emotinal piece.

OK! so i gotta say I'm a little worried that a lot of songs seem to be about saying good bye...I hope there isn't a hidden message from the band in here...
