Uroboros and solving the puzzle

Sep 09, 2008 15:34

I have to say that I am pretty much impressed or rather taken aback by the track list of "Uroboros". It sounds very different to the "sound" ( just how the words melt into your mouth and brain, I mean) then the ones before. It sounds somehow exactly like they announced it. A bit more mystical, back to the roots and deep-down dugging into the layers of consciousness and religious motives. I mean "Uroboros" itself already is a pretty self explainatory symbol. Reincarnation, continuity, power...etc.

Let alone the fact that it is a dragon/ snake and therefore one of the most powerful mythological creatures in almost every major culture. And of course....the fact that 2012 is changing into the dragon or aquarius...I still think and am convinced that it will be another realm of conciousness, illumination, another era for the human mind and evolution....

The titles...It's like a riddle so far. Who wants to help or interpret is highly welcome, I love discussions on that kind of topic and as we all now Kyô's lyrics are not the easiest to crack or understand. Lots of motives, symbols, pictural talking and word plays. Hereby  8 with Uroboros I mean) we introduce, mythical, philosophical and historical themes as well. So...here are my first shots.

"Sa Bir"
I don't know what that language is. It might be Hindi, or even a Tantra out of the Hindu or Buddhist religions. What if it is a certain thing? Something out of th eUppanishads? Might as well be possible. I also checked Malay, and it doesnt mean anything there either. I coudln't find anynthing in wiki nor google...

the only thing it relates to is "sabir", which apperently is another term for "lingua franca" which by wiki is described as being  "a mixed language composed mostly of Italian with a broad vocabulary drawn from Persian, French, Greek and Arabic. Lingua Franca literally means "Frankish language". This originated from the Arabic custom of referring to all Europeans as Franks. This mixed language was used for communication throughout the medieval and early modern Middle East as a diplomatic language; the generic description lingua franca has since become common for any language used by speakers of different languages to communicate with one another. Some samples of Sabir have been preserved in Molière's comedy, Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme."

So any suggestions please? Does someone know more? It sounds also similar to the Spanish "saber" which means to know...
"Vinushka"
Here again, only guessing comes handy...It might be a name. Russian or slavic names are often ended in "-ushka" as a sort of diminutive. so it might be just a gir's name or reffering to a character which existed in history... The only thing were it leads my mind and also google's mind to is the famous super model of the '60. Veruschka (Vera Gräfin von Lehndorff-Steinort). She was the daughter of Heinrich von Lehndorff-Steinort, who was a member of the German Resistence...( might be a political refference, as we all know Diru often has). Veruschla herself, allthough she has an amazing life and is an outstanding personality ( if you don't know her work and what kind of amazing body painting and morph shoots she has done throughout her carrier, deffinitly go and check her stuff out. She is on myspace too..she is about 64 now and still one of the most fascinating models, in my opinion).

And again the title might be taken from a religious or mythical text...
Here we will have to wait and see. It might be everything, My first guesses are that it will be a song about war.Blood soaked grounds. Or it is really reffering to the countries with red soil...here it is really wild guessing.
Doukoku means lamentation, sarinu I was unable to find in my online dictionary, neither in my Japanese transaltion soft and neither in my dictionary...so please...Help?
Since the GazettE's song with the same name the translation of this stuck. "coil" again something similarly succulent as "to wither"
They said it themselves and everyone takes the lyrics to personal interpretation I presume...
Kyo had this to say about the meaning of the title:

"It is fragile and short-lived; it's something that's easily broken. It's also something very human... but that's the bare minimum of an explanation. In the song, I wrote about problems related to environmental destruction. It's not a passionate song... but I've given up too much without really speaking. (laugh) I don't really like to give profound explanations."

"The title itself gives a glimpse into the atmosphere of the song," added drummer Shinya.
Hm...a song about evolution? about the human stupidity? how we are stuck in a network of political intrigues and masquerades? How we keep involuting by driving mother earth and her inhabitants into sure death, wars, gobal warming? or maybe a song about the human mind? it's fears? Loves?
"Reiketsu" is cold-bloodedness or cold-heartedness. Nariseba...again my dictionaries fail me...Help?
"Ware" as in "ego" or "me" or "oneself" ,yami-->darkness and what? what is the "te" supposed to mean? gah!!! JAPANESE!
It sounds like a dance, or ghost, or bubble bath combination. But what the net gave me was this--->"something that causes fear or worry"
And since it is nursery rhyme language and kyô used that before in "shokubeni" "kagome kage no naka..." it is highly possible that this one might contain some old rhymes, this time in english or refferences to soemthing in that direction.

Also Bugaboo seems to be a granite mountain range in the Purcell Mountains of eastern British Columbia, Canada. I think this is excluded so it's down to the last explanation I think might be possible which is :Bugaboo, a thin straight piton or metal spike, perfect for thin, deep seems.
"Gaika" is Victory song, "chinmoku" is silence or retinence, "nemuru" to sleep and "goro"  means time or about/toward. So putting all and particles together I think it means "Victory song, silence is about to sleep" Or at least I hope so. Suggestions?
The lyrics are known and interpretation is at anyone's personal desire and hand.
Again either something political or psychological. we will see. I like the combination of words though. It makes me think of imposed ideals. Of dreams of others being printed onto you, self-repression and many more. A lie maybe...but  a typical Diru song title if you ask me...
So...Yeah. My blind guesses so far. Consider yourself invited to join.
