Work has been super busy.  As a result of all the super-early mornings and rushing around, I'm pretty toasty by the weekend and as a result don't get as much accomplished in my spare time as I would like *looks longingly at pile of unfinished projects... looks even more longingly at comfy bed*.

Yesterday a group of us went to the Clay Oven for Indian food for a friend's birthday.

The meal was fabulous - it was a set menu, $25/person, chai included gratis.  We were definitely the rowdiest table in the restaurant :-D  We were also treated to some photos of our friend's trip to Gulf Wars http://www.gulfwars.org/

When I arrived at work at 6:15 this morning, I was greeted by the supervisor, the few other staff who start that early, and a very friendly security guard - outside the work area.  We were not allowed inside on account of the flooding.

Monday my sweetie had a day off, so he picked me up right after work and we went to see "Flushed Away" at the cheap theatre.  It was very entertaining - I belly-laughed at several of the slug gags... at the very end of the credits there was also a line that read: "no slugs were a-salted during the making of this film"
