I'm one of the 82% of Britons who want the law to allow assisted dying here. Whether or not you share that opinion, I think that Professor Rob George, of the Association for Palliative Medicine, is trying to shut down the debate.

I was appalled to read that apparently it's policy that wheelchair users who want to attend the Paralympic games can only be accompanied by one other person.

How ironic that an event which celebrates the achievements of people with disabilities should be marred by such discrimination.

There's a petition here asking the organisers to review the
