Thanks to
shehasathree I'm reading about Arctic Heat cooling vests. Heat-intolerant people, eg many disabled people, don't find hot weather 'gorgeous' or 'lovely' - we find it horrible. I use wet clothing, swimwear and electric fans to keep me cool in hot weather.

Sometimes i forget that not everyone shares my obsession with internet linguistics and knowledge of terminology.
Not that i can keep up with the 'kids these days', myself. I was reading a story a little while back, and the author kept using "[y/n]", but from the context it clearly wasn't being used to mean "yes/no". It was ...very confusing. Turns out it's a thing for "your name". Hah! /o\
