You'd think there'd be a lot of these, wouldn't you? Well, there sort of are, but they're not the actual game of Mahjongg, they're games of Solitaire (aka Taipei). It's tile-matching. Why am I still unwell? No, really, I'm confused. It's been THREE WEEKS and I'm still stuck in bed having sneezing fits. I even woke up in the middle of the night (despite taking Zombie-Clone) so I could sneeze a lot. That was a pleasantly busy week, in a fairly down-to-earth way. After saying goodbye to our American visitors on Monday night, we mostly spent Tuesday resting and catching up on sleep. Mm, sleep. We didn't get the cherries yet as we were a bit too tired and didn't want to fall off the ladder or anything.

Got home quite late last night, so I didn't get a good chance to write about what a lovely weekend I had, despite not going to Pride (maybe because of that? Mm, that was an excellent very long weekend! May has been horrible in some ways but rather brilliant in others. The first Bank Holiday was great fun, involving as it did hanging out with blahflowers, societyscaresme & K in Greenwich - rain stopped play, literally but we did find a very nice local pub instead - going with hazyjayne to catsgomiaow & mrs_leroy_brown's birthday celebrations at Big Red, then ( Read more... )

We are currently planning to head to the pub this afternoon, and to bring Arkham Horror with us. We get to go on the East London Line!!
