I can now hit an iron shot, and I can do it right about 75% of the time.
Of course, I can only hit a four iron about a hundred yards (which, yes, I know, is rather pathetic) but even last summer, I was still primarily golfing with woods and a pitching wedge. No, I don't know how I did it, either, and no, I don't recommend it.
My accuracy hasn't improved that much (as evidenced by ye olde 52 today on the front nine) but at least I can hit the ball.
I like golf. A lot. For those of you who haven't been around since last summer (or the summer before that, or the summer before that, etc.) I love to golf. I've only gotten decent at it in the last five years or so, but I have golfed since I was six years old and my dad bought an old set of clubs off his friend Jim and had the guys at the pro shop chop the shafts and stick the handles back on the ends for a perfect set of cheap, short golf clubs.
So yeah. I like golf. A lot.
