The EU has said that it will suspend the voting rights of any nation found to be operating secret CIA prisons. Finally, they're growing some balls and taking the first steps towards a stand against American human rights abuses.

Here's an interesting statistic, the racial breakdown of neighbourhoods in New Orleans that were beginning to be repopulated before Rita: the French Quarter: 90% white, the Garden District: 89% white, Audubon: 86% white.
