6 weeks now til I head off o/s for the big trip. Almost got everything sorted, just the Mongolian visa to organise and then I'm good. Still concerned about my back and how it's going to cope, but I can't let that fear stop me doing what I want to. I've been watching My So Called Life on the recommendation of myrthe and a number of other friends. They all say it's a fab series, a good reflection of teenage life in the 90's - plus it's got Claire Danes and Jared Leto in it. But... Went to Sydney for the weekend and it was much fun apart being filthy hot and humid on Saturday. I’ve discovered I have much love for 5 Star hotels. The view of the harbour from the Shangri-la (which is in The Rocks) was just fantastic, the bed and pillows very, very comfortable, the bathroom was amazing, full marble with a shower you could fit two ( Read more... )

BBQ - I has one! Bought a nice, hooded 4-burner BBQ today. I'd been wanting one with a wok burner as well, but the ones I could find were a minimum $150 dearer than the ones without, so no wok burner for me.
