[Toucha-toucha-touch meee, I wanna be dirtyyyy]
Guuuuh *slaps self on wrist* I know I haven't updated & such but tis a new year & now I feel a bit better about certain things I'll start updating again
So....
Robin Hood:-
I really enjoyed the second series, right from the start too and I now know why! It's because of the continuity staying true *nods* I loved how Robin & Marian stayed together throughout the series, and how she was with Guy [I still feel that Marian did secretly fancy Guy buuuut she wasn't going to go there again xD] & I liked her friendships with Will & Allan too [more than friends at times too =o]
& then, they hit us. Hard. =( I hated her death. The episode was really rushed, quite a few characters weren't themselves & Jonas' acting was a little off too =S Will & Djac actually started getting on my nerves too & gah. It was really ruined for me by the fact that Marian built Guy up to be a better person & he just stabbed the crap out of her. I still blubbed my heart out though *frowns*
Strictly Come Dancing:-
The right person won in the end. I'm glad Tish went far cos she deserved too. Gutted that Gethin didn't make the final & weasel did though =( & Katherine Jenkins & Gethin = adorable ^_^
Hollyoaks:-
I cried watching Jen's exit & it wasn't sad xD She absolutely kicked Darren's arse & as much as I was warming to him it bugged me that he ditched Zoe for Jess & ruined everything for himself =( There should have been a final scene with her & Kris though, the writers had the perfect opportunity to create one & never did,so that annoyed me.
In other 'Oaks news I'm loving Mike & Zoe <3 I don't see why there's this vendetta against them either, it's perfectly normal for a young woman to fall for an older man in todays society. Looking forward to seeing how they developin time [please don't be another Jess & Kris!]
Doctor Who:-
I was really looking forward to Vogage of the Damned & I'm so on the fence about the episode in general. I felt like Astrid was too much like Rose & after everything that happened in series 3 regarding Martha & also the Doctor actually starting to get over Rose was ruined. I'm also on the fence about Billie'e return. I think it's too soon really, but I also feel that it's been planned ever since she left. I was shocked she wasn't in the series 4 trailer as well, I remember when the news was officially announced it was such a big deal to the show & also the fans that it shocked me when she didn't appear
Torchwood:-
I love this show, possbly a bit more than Doctor Who at the moment. Really enjoyed Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and James Marsden was just incredible <3 I'm completely changing fandom heads with that too. Loved Ianto & Jack in the office scenes & I never took to them well in series 1, & also Owen & Tosh. I used to be a fan & then things heated up between him & Gwen & it went out the window. Looking forward to the rest of the second series & how Martha is introduced.
When I get back into LJ I'll do more detailed fandom posts, right now I just felt the urge to do a small update =P
Work:-
Work for a change is fun. I think it's because we're really quiet atm cos it's after Christmas, people are a little skint and the town's now completely under construction [honestly it's like a death trap trying to cross it sometimes!]
It's birthday month right now xD 5 birthdays to think about in January, plus another couple on top of that! But we're all having fun
Mates:-
Best mate came home from Uni over Christmas. Long time coming if you ask me, I've missed her so much. We made sure we met up at least three or four times & just had fun
I don't see many mates at the moment. Rob broke up with Shev so I don't see her very often anymore =( Still see him though <3 Krissy has practically ditched me, wouldn't come to the panto or anything, second time she's done it so I don't hold out much hope for that anymore =( & Gemma's gone funny on me too *rolls eyes* Don't see Helen much either or Dan. I think it's cos of boyfriend & girlfriends personally, but what am I to commenton that huh?
Family:-
Lots of "blips", lots of holiday talk & general shouty'ness. I guess that pretty much covers it xD
Panto:-
Went to see John Barrowman in panto twice & had the best time [although the second time around with the work lot was so much better!] He was adorable and is definately one of the nicest celebrities I've met [Jen Biddall coming in joint with him <3] The Grumbleweedsstole the show though xD
NTA's:-
Again, they were incredible, so much better than the previous year me thinks, minus Luce of course! Met loads of Hollyoaker's including Jennifer Biddall, Zoe Lister, Stuart Manning, Claire Cooper, Summer Strallen & Gemma Merna. Jen was definately my favourite though xD We'd made her a banner and Zoe Lister noticed it and pushed her over, then we had a bit of a chat, she posed for a photo and gave me a surprising hug which was lovely. Like I said she's one of the nicest people you'll meet. & David Tennant yelled at us xD we told him we loved him & he said he loved us too on live tv *whistles*
Music:-
Two words. Bubblegum pop. ::headdesk:: still, a lot of fun though. I'm mainly into Lolly atm from that era, but sssh, noone need know xD Taste is pretty much the same though, lots of indie & guitar tracks with a sprinkle of pop & soundtrack music in there too xD
Lifestyle:-
Diet seems to be getting a little better & I'm finding myself wanting to eat fruit & yoghurts which has to be good right? I also started "Strictly Come Dancing" lessons on Friday, which is run by the woman who's husband is the red button commentater on the Strictly Come Dancing show, & I get the chance with this to go & see Darren & Lilia perform, so I'm really excited about this <3
I guess thats most things covered, sure I've missed something from there though. A belated Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to all my flist & I hope this year will be a good one for you. Hopefully we'll have a mass catch up soon *hugs*
