And assuming there isn't full marriage equality here in the US by the time I actually tie the knot with someone, I WILL CACKLE because France is doing better than we are in that regard and will have been doing so for years. (So long as you ignore the denial of artificial insemination and surrogacy to the couples that can't afford it. But it should happen in time.)
