In the running (as far as I know)

  (crestwood ln)

This one is nice because it has a huge forest just to the right of it! It is my favorite kind of woods, as well. Rain forest. All the plants I studied when I went to Evergreen, all my favorite trees and bugs and slugs and....  But it is very close to the neighbors, and I'm not sure that there is a fenced backyard at all. It also is a little bit isolated from everywhere/one else, although closer to both schools I want to attend. The house was built in 2006 and that is an advantage for Mark and I, because we both have really bad allergies to mildew and mold. I don't know what kind of a lease they want, but the rent is only 1200 per month.

(rose st)  It is the second one down and it says *application pending* (that's mine)

This has been my favorite for over a week. It's the only one I have filled out an application for so far. The main problem with it is the price and length of lease. It's 1595 per month and they want a one-year lease.  I would prefer less rent, or a nine-month lease, or both. The house is really big and nice inside, and it is in an almost perfect location. It's within a mile from downtown, close to the water, close to a big park and a school and a bakery.  On the same side of town as my mom, and a little closer to the airport than the crestwood ln rental would be.  This house was built in 2007.

If this one is mildew and cat-dander free, it could be perfect. Less money, across the street from a park, fenced yard, on the East side...  Also more character maybe? My friend Dan is looking at it on Tuesday, but he also said there are applications pending for it already. So ?  but I hope for it.

Mark has been gone for exactly a week, and we have been skyping every day. I miss him, and want to talk more than he seems to. His hotel room looks nice, but small, and he's making friends at the factory.
We had an offer on our house the first day it was on MLS for our asking price, and then we had a counter-offer the same day. Then, the next morning, a counter-counter offer by the first people. I signed the last one because is was for 13,000  more than our asking price. Is that incredible or what?!   Next week is the inspection and the title-5 (they check the septic) and our moving container is arriving March 1st...
