yep, still here
We've been waffling between Olympia and Seattle this week, looking at rentals online constantly, and mentally preparing for Mark's 3 week trip to Bremen, Germany.
Now it's Saturday morning, and we are leaving in a couple of hours to drive him to the airport. He will be gone for 21 days.
Meanwhile, I will continue to pack the house and look at rentals online. Our current plan is to wait until Mark is back, and then he and I will go to the NW and find a rental over one weekend. My friend Laura offered to take care of Cadence so she wouldn't have to take the trip with us...
I feel like our plans could shift in an instant, but so far, these are good ones.
We put our house on the market two days ago, and our real estate agent (Chris) is coming over on Monday to take pictures of the inside of the house, so I'm madly packing knick-knacky things and rearranging furniture so our house looks it's best.
Cadence has settled back into a routine, and seems much more confident and agreeable. I think having her stay at our friend's house is a really good idea, after seeing how she was on our last trip!
