Sorting out our French purchases. Shopping is a very pleasant occupation, especially abroad, isn’t it? ;) I’d been dreaming about it for two years. Not about clothes - I think you can find everything in Moscow now (er… and which of the countries offers more Chinese goods, what do you think?), but mostly the things related to the language. We shall certainly talk about it later. Now I’ll try to describe the perfumes we, two women, have chosen.
Pierre Cardin “Pour femme” . My perfume must be rather “strict” and not “lightminded”. I took a long time to choose it, as it is never as easy as men probably imagine. But this one is fantastic, I adore! I think I prefer slightly bitter perfumes, maybe bitterish and a little bit sweet, but only delicate. It must not be strong. Which doesn’t mean that the aroma may disappear in half an hour, though, I guess, it doesn’t concern authentic French eaux de toilette ;) I heard some specialist advice that you shouldn’t try more than three aromas at once - that is, during the same visit of a boutique - because after you had smelt three ones, you would not see the difference between all the others. But for me, it is not realizable. “My” perfume is a rarity, so I must try them all to find it.
“Charlotte aux fraises” for Nastya. Made in Spain. - a very light strawberry aroma.
Frankly speaking, I’m rather against using all this staff by children under at least 12 years old. I don’t even know where she will apply it. Probably, only at parties. But of course, she likes to dress up (since she was four!), so if I had approved of it, she would have gone even to the kindergarten all tricked out, made up, perfumed, equipped with bijouterie and high-heeled shoes :) But - no, she wears a green uniform at school and I try to teach her to choose comfortable clothes. The perfumes, ok, let’s be up-to-date and make ourselves pretty, but only for parties.
