Okay ladies
here's my newest update and two new photos. to be honest, I don't think it 'looks' any better than it did on Monday BUT the base is a little thicker and that's what I'm working to build. There are a few little weak spots, so this morning's project was to make a bucket of slush to 'patch' them spots. I won't be touching it until later this evening so as to make absolutely certain that my 'slush spots' are frozen.
I don't think we will be skating by tomorrow as I had originally hoped we would. We probably could, but I'm thinking that I'll hold off until the next day so we can be sure the ice won't crack. So, Friday is the now Launch Date...
I almost feel like I should have a ribbon around it and a pair of those ridiculously huge scissors. LOL
Anyhow, here are a couple of pictures. One is just a shot of the ice and one is a close up of the hose and bucket so you can get a good laugh at my set up.
