Well, it's official.  SyFy has opted to cancel the only show on their network worth watching.  Sanctuary is gone after 4 seasons.  I am saddened and pissed but not surprised since SyFy is determined to get rid of everything that could possibly remind them of what made their network in the first place.  I really feel for Amanda Tapping who put her ( Read more... )

I already knew 'The Walking Dead' had been picked up for a third season but official word came down yesterday that my other favorite show, 'Once Upon a Time' has been renewed.  It was a no-brainer for ABC as it was the top new show of the year and the top show of its genre.  Now, if we could only get word on 'Sanctuary'.  The interview with Amanda ( Read more... )

Reduced to the one not-seen-lately character of John Druitt after his other character (Biggie) was killed off of Sanctuary, Christopher Heyerdahl has joined the cast of HBO's True Blood and will be returning to AMC's Hell On Wheels as well.  Unlike most Sanctuary fans, I hope this means we've seen the last of him on the show, as Druitt was the one ( Read more... )

Well, the Sanctuary season 4 finale lived up to my expectations.  It was a great ep with some stunning happenings.  I expected Kate to die but she didn't.  Biggie, who I thought was playing both sides and was, is dead.  I can only wonder if Christopher Heyerdahl has left for greener pastures (the more mainstream Hell On Wheels) for good.  If this ( Read more... )

Well, the next to the last ep for the season.  What's with another former SG-1 guest actor (the chick that played Dr. Francine Michaels playing the SCIU captain) showing up on the show?  I'm still waiting for Amanda to show some love to her former co-star and friend, Teryl.  Good episode though. 

Loved the A-Plot, hated the B-Plot.  I'm convinced that Will (and anything involving him) can't get any more dull.  He's about as interesting as a piece of dry toast and as necessary to the show as a mildewy washcloth.  I don't get why the execs don't realize this and stop featuring him in prominent parts ( Read more... )

With or against Helen, good or bad, I'm just not that big a fan of Tesla.  It was nice to see Helen and Henry on a mission together instead of Will but I actually liked the storyline with Will and Biggie more.  It was a good ep but not in my top faves. 

Loved and hated 'Monsoon'.  LOVED Helen's story arc, HATED Will/Abby (as usual).  When are they gonna realize that her character is not working and doesn't fit in with the whole Sanctuary team dynamic?  We already have the annoying, boring character (Will), we don't need another ( Read more... )
