Sanctuary

Loved the ep from last night but much was quite predictable.  I knew as soon as Erika opened her mouth that she was pregnant.  If she wasn't, they wouldn't keep her coming back.  I like her much more than Abby the Boring.  I knew Helen was playing Addison and wasn't worried about them losing the UN support.  Helen would never do anything that drastic without a plan and 113 years is long enough to think of everything.  While the episode was necessary for the future of the show because the restrictions of the UN were just too limiting, it felt like watching a rehash of SG-1 every time Kinsey and the NID tried to take control of the SGC.  It would've been more exciting had someone from the Sanctuary royally screwed up and caused the deaths of several innocents or something just as drastic instead of it coming down to nothing more than a power struggle for total control of the network.  I can't wait to see how things go now that Helen is 100% in charge of everything.  It's time to get down and dirty, Helen.

P.S.  They made Erika's new gestation period 22 months because they know they'll be cancelled before she gives birth and Henry leaves.  Which, by the way, is confusing.  Why isn't the Sanctuary a place to raise a child?  Helen didn't seem to care about the dangers when she purposely impregnated herself and raised Ashley, virtually by herself, at the Sanctuary.  Double standards, Helen?  Do as I say, not as I do?
