tad chilly
ok, a hug is one thing, but yesterday had me floating on cloud 9. i decided to stay after school for a little while to finish up some homework i had due that night, and during that time the fire alarm just happened to go off. at first we all thought it was just a drill, but then someone called up to tell us it wasn't so we were forced to evacuate quickly. so we all filed out of the building, my crush being the only teacher there to guide us, and once we were outside we pretty much just stood and waited. but after a few minutes i started getting a bit cold, since it's still pretty chilly out here in vancity and was raining at the time, and since we were instructed to leave all our stuff behind in the classroom i didn't think twice to bring my sweater (it also didn't help that i was wearing a thin little crop top). so while i'm shivering and trying to warm myself up, my teacher notices and then offers me his jacket. now, that may not sound like a big deal, but to me, i think a man offering a woman his jacket is just about one of the most romantic gestures ever. and, yes, i do happen to be a hopeless romantic. so i gladly accepted it, and wore it, and swooned, and wanted to mack on him, and have his babies.
as for the actual fire situation, turns out it was just a false alarm. firemen took forever to get there though, so we were outside for at least 40 minutes. i was pretty pissed off about it, but getting to stand outside with my crush for that amount of time and wear his jacket pretty much made up for all of it. and then when we finally did go back inside he never asked for it back so i decided to just wear it for the rest of my time there while i finished up my homework. i actually ended up staying until about 7:40, at which point i finally surrendered the jacket. i wanted to wear it home with me and just say i 'forgot i had it on', but that seemed a little too much.
i'm progressing, though, i swear. it can't just be all in my head. it can't.
