I thought I had found the perfect answer to the Vet Tech thing. I found an online program that was listed as AVMA-accrediated AND not super expensive. (Note: You must graduate from an AVMA-accrediated program to be eligible to sit for the NY licensing exam). Most other programs are around $250/credit x ~70credits = You do the math! Eww. I just submitted my application into the Vet Tech program to Delhi. Now, while I know I will have no problems being accepted, their admissions website is showing the program as on wait-list, so I guess it would just depend on if some people don't end up going.
