Well, let's see...

I just submitted my application into the Vet Tech program to Delhi. Now, while I know I will have no problems being accepted, their admissions website is showing the program as on wait-list, so I guess it would just depend on if some people don't end up going. Which I guess is likely since I've done it (repeatedly) in the past. *shrug*
With hiring the new receptionist (who is a quick learner and working out great), I feel like I have the option now to explore my options. I asked Dr. C if I should apply to Delhi, to which she quickly responded "YES! YES. You already have more practical knowledge than a lot of techs I know."

So, we'll see. I can't get my hopes up obviously since the program is full. Worse case is that I have to wait until next Spring. (By then, I'd probably change my mind, hehe).
Yes, the commute would suck. I had thought about only taking a couple of classes, but I realized that if I have to drive that far, I might as well load up on classes and get the program done quicker. When I was accepted in the past, the advisor said I could probably complete it in 3 semesters.
Plus, Harry's mom lives in Downsville, which is only 18 miles or so to Delhi, so I'd have a safehouse to go to during winter. And they have a Veterinary Technology Management Bachelor's program which can be completed online once you complete the tech program.
It's just the damn commute that would suck! But, it's a little over an hour, and I guess that's some people's commute to work everyday, and I'd only have to put up with it for a couple years.

But, yep. It's a waiting game now!
