I am not leaving LJ, but since one of my 2013 resolutions is to get better at social marketing, I am giving Tumblr a try. It will mostly be a place to share my art, and I am not planning on reblogging much (at the moment).

Okay, QUESTIONS
- How do I leave a note with a comment? I know I can't reply to the comment, right? But I can't figure out how to actually leave a note with a comment.
- Also, why do people make those Tumblr cuts in the middle of larger/longer pictures? Does Tumblr actually cut their pictures in half or something? And should I make them? At the moment, my pictures are not all that long in length (or so I think) so I have no idea if I should make the Tumblr cut
- Do people search Tumblr using tags, or are tags mostly for my own organizational purposes
