1. So when people leave me comments, they're actually reblogging? Hmm...how come I don't see some of the reblogs? Oy, so confused.

2. Ah, I need to look into these size limits now.

3. The first 5 tags EVER, or the first 5 tags of my post? If it's first 5 tags EVER, then I am already screwed, LOL.

Yay! Thank you! Followed you back!

*waves* If you don't think you'll be able to resist reblogging then you can always make another account. I use SilverLutra for my eclectic mix of things that interest me, and Dalamar for posting my photos to Tumblr.

Enjoy Tumblr, it's a whole exciting world of weird in there :)

I am mostly clicking the "heart" button for things I like and want to collect. I am glad to see that there's a handy tab where I can find everything I've hearted. That's very handy for things like reference pictures and things I want to drool over.

Tumblr is pretty amazing for gifs. There was a fascinating discussion on the first episode of Three Patch Podcast where emmagrant01 and Ivyblossom discussed how gif sets is another form of literary/fandom explication. And I was like, OMG. SO true.

OH HAI! I added you, I don't think I'll be hard to recognize. ;)

I'm sure you'll be pulled into the pretty soon, so if you do decide to start reblogging stuff (possibly on another account?), I wouldn't be surprised at all! :D

Hey, I didn't know you had a twitter, added you there too. :)

One thing some people on Tumblr do to gain more followers is giveaways. That way they get lots of reblogs and new followers.

I'm mostly hearting things right now. I like how Tumblr keeps a history of everything I've hearted, so I can go back and look at things again. That's pretty handy.

Hah, my Twitter is so dysfunctional. I'm trying to be better at it. I hate Twitter because, of, you know, the restrictions on Tweets. I am too verbose and Tweeting forces me to be more succinct, but oh my god, so limiting.

I'm going to organize giveaways! I just don't know how to do it yet. I need to make a study of well-run giveaways and see how to do mine. I think it would be better to hold off on a giveaway until I've got some more art up. I'm trying to put up art a little at a time, because I am going to run out!

I love your artwork so I added you. This will show up on your dash if you want to add me back.

Tumblr is a good place to market artwork. I follow a fair number of art blogs. It should be a great place to market fanart.

It is a bad place to try to have a conversation with people; in fact, there are plenty of people there who get offended if you add a comment to their posts or even their reblogs. It's...disconcerting, actually.

Thank you so much! Followed you back. One of the big reasons why I am marketing my artwork and fan art on Tumblr is also to take more ownership of my art on Tumblr. I've been made aware of people reblogging my artwork that has been taken off of DA and LJ and other places (despite being pretty explicit about it not being okay to redistribute anywhere).

And so far, I'm really enjoying it! I would love to get more artwork on my dashboard, as well. And now, Tumblr is kind of exploding with Golden Globes stuff, which is pretty exciting. it's exciting to be involved in fandom flail again. It's one aspect of LJ that has really been diminishing.

WHA. Really. Okay. I shall restrain myself then, to only people I know, for now, until I get a better handle on the Tumblr culture.
