I don't want to sleep because when I wake up, it will be the first day of school and I'll have to deal with the suckiness that I left for myself during the summer.

I am now working on the a thesis with Prof. Drakanov. Optimal control system for scramjet single-stage surface to orbit vehicle OR hypersonic trans-atmospheric vehicle.

Go me. :)

(P.S. I can't believe I'm actually starting a design for a spaceship!)

So... good news! I got my flight block! (A huge relief... as I told some people in Cali, I was really worried that they wouldn't even put me in a flight block without jumping through some major hoops.) BUT...

It's from 5:45AM-9:45AM.

So I have to be up, and ready to go to flight ops by 5:00AM.

So... my current graduate adviser and the program chair talked me out of GR. And, after the last few days of mulling it over, I think it's for the best. GR is something that excites me and I truly *do* believe that I can do something in that area, but it will probably have to wait.
