Lemming-ing Time, Part Deux:
If you have any interest in writing me a Yuletide Madness treat, my Dear Yuletide letter on LJ | my Dear Yuletide letter on DW
(That is for Big Brother RPF, Survivor RPF, On the Jellicoe Road, and Muppets. I would also be interested in, oh, basically any other fandom I am in! I AM PRETTY EASY. Things I would enjoy are PRETTY OBVIOUS GIVEN ME, but if you wanted to do anything with baby geniuses or teenage superheroes or awesome women or explosions or YA lit, I WOULD NOT SAY NO. TV shows I currently watch, besides my requests, are basically Fringe (OLIVIA OMGGGGGGGG) and Good Wife (there is not enough Diane ladyslash, I AM JUST SAYING, and also &KALINDA; and &ALICIA;) and Community (Britta/Slater! Or gen hijinks), Parks and Rec (ladies? :D? And/or Ron), and Revenge (AMANDA AND EMILY OTPPPPPPPP. Or Emily and Amanda, if you prefer). And basically anything YA- or kidlit-related would be happiness-inducing! And and and BASICALLY EVERYTHING IS WHAT I AM SAYING.)
My roommate has been gone for about five hours now. In that time, I have converted the living room to whatever the Chanukah equivalent of Santa's workshop is. My family is GETTING THEIR CHANUKAH CARDS ON TIME IF IT KILLS ME.
...Which it may.
I have a lot of cards (for them and for friends) almost-done, but am being neurotic so nothing is FINISHED finished. They are spread out around me in various stages of almost-but-not-quite. This is not actually shocking to anyone, and yet I am surprised, because I am dumb. Hope none of you are expecting cards from me to be on time!
After I finish making all of the cards, I am about to begin my annual Read ALL The Books Published In The Past Year To See If I Can Have Read the Printz, Newbery, and Caldecott Winners Before ALA. Just thinking about it is stressful, and yet, I gotta say- I can't think of a nicer way to be spending my break. :DDD
(And if you have any suggestions, by all means- I am OPEN TO HEARING THEM.)
