i'd've liked to still be asleep, but I got a phone call from Mom at 11:45, and now I couldn't get back to sleep anyway because the neighbors are at it with the subwoofer again.

shower, making crepes, farmers' market, prepping desserts, soiree preparations and soiree. i need a nap more desperately than i ever have and i don't have time for one. you'll see me cracked out of my ass tonight. my soul is in dire need of some balm.

today i rode in the launch with ellen. i heard (and saw) that both women's boats had a bad row. bah.
