so much for sledding -- zivvy was stuck shoveling all morning. this best not cancel happy hour plans, though!

and all day today, I've been playing snood working for real on the personal statement. seriously, though, I have done a lot on it. I'm going to finish revisions today, mail it back to Janet. also will email the prof at Pitt who studies exactly what I want to study but with an older generation and in Scotland.
point of annoyance: the net's been in and out since last night. it's good motivation to get work done, though, I tell ya.
