An Open Letter #419

Dear Zoie,

For the past 3 or 4 years I've been getting text messages and phonecalls from you on a semi-regular basis. This would be the signs of a nice friendship except the fact you live in Adelaide and I'm not Claire. For 3 or 4 years now, you've semi-regularly dialled the wrong number and I've been the lucky random which has answered.

What I'm writing for is that I'm just wondering if that invitation to your engagement party is for me or if it is for your friend Claire, because I'd love to go. The reason why I guess is that when you sms'd me the directions to your house in Thorngate last year, I found out that you live in one of the richest suburbs in Adelaide and hence surely must have some rich single female friends which would give me the opportunity to finally find a girl so rich that there's no need for financial responsibility. And what better place to find that girl than during an upper-class celebration of love and romantic naivety.

Regards
