Tip #1 : Carparks

When searching for that carpark, which spot do you aim for? Most people answer 'the closest one possible'.

If you just get into the carpark, find the first available spot and park there, you don't have to fight over it, you don't spend time looking for it and that extra 40 metres you walked is actually healthy for you. You don't stress and the time you spend walking has a fair chance of being smaller than the time you spend hunting for that elusive spot near the entrance.
