She got some tricks and she got some treats to knock you off your feet
So what happened today....
I spent 15 minutes talking on the phone with my mum about the sex industry. She and my dad are in Amsterdam for the week, and apparently they happened to stumble upon something that made my mum want to gouge out her own eyes with a rusty fork and cut off one of her ears just for good measure. I tried to explain to her what she had just seen (It's perfectly natural, all the grown-ups are doing it) but failed miserably. I'm going to hate when she realises the internet offers a lot more than dictionary.com and ebay.
But the afternoon was much better because I loaded a bunch of songs from 1995 and danced for a good 25 minutes, and by dancing I mean seizing in an upright position while utterly butchering the words to the song and flapping my arms about myself as if I were a mentally challenged Guillemot after the Exxon Valdez spill.
So it's been a day or mixed results.
