So really, he shouldn't have been that surprised to run into Crystal along with the other denizens of the mansion. He almost didn't even notice her, so wrapped up was he in his own thoughts. It was only when she stopped and stared at him that Mark bothered to look up.
For a few moments, all he did was stare in silence. Crystal had been one of those who hadn't sought him out. Martini had no idea if she forgave him or not, but he didn't care. Though it hadn't been entirely physical, he had been quite emotionally cruel to the girl. Worst of all, there was still a part of him that wasn't sorry for all he had done, not just to Crystal, but to the whole house. He had tucked that part of him away, but it was still there. But none of that was voiced. Only one question, the least important out of all of them. "Doesn't anyone bother to sleep around here?"

"Observant as always..." she commented looking back to him, hugging the book to her.
"You know the answer to that."

She looked away from him and turned back to her book. Say the words. Whether or not you mean then is up for grabs.
"Be careful."
Then turned to walk back to her room, focusing on her book. The last thing she wanted to deal with was everyone in the house feeling guilty because Martini did yet another questionable action.
