Holy heck the weekends just come and go so fast at the moment......I have to admit it probably has a lot to do with the fact I have a zillion things I want to fit in (thank goodness winter = antisocial)!!

 I have had a really fun couple of weeks at work, plodding away on my own design projects........

I started the year off by adding some more corsets to our growing stock, this time in larger sizes (for those lovely curvy girls), that eased me back in rather nicely (I took a reasonably long xmas break).

This week at work Ive been busy making western gun holsters (3x double gun belts to complete in total), I have to say I feel very lucky to have projects that continue to expand my skills with leather work.......not to mention how awesome it is having a 'living resource' passing on and teaching me so much information (bless the boss ( Read more... )

I just recently finished a pair of replacement leather chaps for the costume hire......yay for cool projects! This time I also had the job of dyeing the leather first, my boss wanted a slightly antiqued look so we played around with a few colours/techniques on scrap leather.
