The 20th Annual MTV Movie Awards
Held June 5, at the Gibson Ampitheatre in Universal City. Hosted by Jason Sudeikis.

Kristen Stewart, 21, won Best Female Performance for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. For the third year in a row, she and Robert Pattison won Best Kiss (beating out Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis in Black Swan, and Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1).

Emma Watson, 21, was nominated for Best Female Performance for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, but lost out to Kristen. Kinda like how Deathly Hallows lost to Eclipse for Best Movie. In fact, much of the night was a showdown between Twilight and Harry Potter.

Emma Stone, 22, won Best Comedic Performance for Easy A.

Hailee Steinfeld (on the red carpet with her brother Griffin), 14, was nominated for Best Breakout Star for True Grit, but she lost to Chloe Moretz, 14, for Kick-Ass. Chloe didn't attend the event, but she posted on her Twitter page: "Thank you soo much to everyone who voted for me i love my fans sooo much and can't thank you all enough!" (As for Hailee's outfit, well, we're not going to comment because with all the other girls there wearing cute, summery dresses, she probably felt overdressed enough already.)

Elle Fanning (onstage with JJ Abrams, Joel Courtney, and Steven Spielberg), 13, attended to present never-before-seen footage of her upcoming film Super 8. Clips of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 were also broadcast, as part of the show's summer movie previews.

Selena Gomez, 18, wasn't a nominee or a presenter, but she looked great and we're glad she was there.
