I love having Ted-Mo-Emma chats, no matter what they're about. It's just such a fun, comfortable group. We skipped the mini assembly and spent a good chunk of the open block in their office. Mo's coffee is really good, and his smells-like-dirt-but-tastes-delicious tea.
I learned part of my Haley dance! I like her choreography and song choice; can't wait to learn more!
I'm excited to perform in jazz ensemble tomorrow (HINT HINT BEGINNING OF LUNCH AND ALL THE WAY THROUGH IN THE RECITAL HALL TOMORROW BE THERE OR BE SQUARE I WILL LOVE YOU IF YOU COME IF YOU CAN'T THAT'S NOT THE END OF THE WORLD BUT IT'S GOING TO BE AWESOME JUST HINT WINK NUDGE SLAP PUNCH). I forgot all my music today but I managed to scavenge some copies from the piles of various songs and parts. Panicking before soloing is becoming less inhibiting, thankfully.
I'm feeling very content. It's the end of the mod so I get a nice break soon, and I feel like everything's comfortably coming to an end in that respect. Recommendation envelopes and whatnot are done and out of the way. Sure I still need to write my college essay, request and receive my transcript, and schedule alumni visits with Brown, Wesleyan, and Kenyon, but it's just not bugging me right now. I feel very serene. Maybe even a little zen. It's nice.
