Friday and Saturday were very strange.
On Friday, I didn't eat breakfast and then didn't eat lunch because I met with Liz for the whole hour. So by the time D Block rolled around, I was running on empty. I had zero energy, zero blood sugar, and therefore zero sanity. You know how I've talked about those two kids in jazz ensemble whose heads I would often like to take a chainsaw to? Well, I was really starting to go homicidal. I looked murderous during the whole rehearsal and then when it was over, I went and ranted to Sunny. My whole body was shaking, and I thought it was from anger but it was really just because I hadn't eaten all day and had no energy. Before driving home I tried to calm myself down by doing some deep breathing and whatnot, but it was just nuts. Thankfully I got home without running over any pedestrians or fainting. Woo!
Yesterday was also a day of no energy. I got up at 6, took two standardized tests, drove on the highway for an hour, went apple-picking, and then was absolutely ready to collapse. Add three little letters, I'll give you one guess which ones, on top of all this. It was just crazy.
Thankfully this morning I actually slept, and have had a lovely low-key day. I made popovers! :D
Still haven't edited my old essay or started the new one, but ehhh I've still got time to procrastinate.
Later today I'm going to get all of my recommendation folders and envelopes ready.
Thought I was decided, turns out I'm not at all. You know what I'm talking about, I don't have to go into it. Guhhh it's so obnoxious. But I'm taking a break from thinking about it. The more I think about it, the less I'm able to make a decision.
