From my favorite chocolate fudge cake recipe (
www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/6652/naughty-chocolate-fudge-cake), only cupcake sized and filled with ganache. I also used it to try my new piping set, I had never done any piping before, it is fun !!
This recipe really works well with the ganache filling because it is not too chocolatey.
I got 20 medium sized cupcakes out of the recipe. I used about 200g icing sugar for the buttercream, which was just enough (icing lovers add 50/100g) and 200g of chocolate for the ganache which was too much (use only 150g, you'll have enough).
If you want it to be truly decadent, serve it crème patissière.
