Today I made Irish soda bread and squash soup for supper. I'd never had squash soup, so it was a yummy first-time experience! I used
Alton Brown's recipe and added some carrots, celery and onion to it as some other recipes recommended. I could really taste the carrot, so it was more like a squash-carrot soup. Still yummy!
Now for my question. I made chocolate chip cookies the other night, and while they are awesome, they taste a bit off. I recently switched from regular old Morton salt to kosher salt. Do I have to increase the amount of salt I put in baked goods when using kosher versus iodized?
