housewarming!!
We're moving!! yay!!
And because we're actually moving to a beautiful condo with lots of room (and a big kitchen!!) we're having a housewarming party! :)
So im going to do cocktails and hors d'oeuvres because people will be in and out all day, and wondering if anyone has any ideas? Preferablly things i can semi prepare beforehand, or easily frozen cuz i think we'll need alot of food :) **( i am looking for things that can take a while/aren't just your run of the mill cocktails - to prepare - im pretty ok in the kitchen, so please, give me your boldest ideas!!)**
i'm thinking an italian theme but not really sure...
Some idea's that have come to mind:
melon wrapped proscuitto
marscapone fig crostini
wild mushroom crostini
probablly some sort of cheese tray (any must have cheeses you'd reccomend?)
i thinking something with phylo pastries? or some sort of tart?
i also was going to do a thai chicken skewers with peanut sauce, but the peanut sauce i made last time just wasn't quite right. it was basically just lime, coconut milk, and peanut butter...anybody have any good peanut sauce recipies?
