Hi all,
Still in New Year's resolution mode, I've been thinking about making some quick, healthy soups to eat over the course of the week for lunches/snacks. How long would a homemade soup keep for in the fridge? If I were to freeze the soup in small containers, what containers would you recommend?
And while I'm at it, do you have any ideas for quick, healthy soups?
(Total tangent: has anyone seen these commercials for the free 1 week trial of Weight Watchers online? Well, I gave it a go, and let me tell you - diet websites are not culinary-enthusiast-friendly (which probably should have been obvious to me, but I still had hope). Ten variations on the same bland grilled chicken / steamed vegetable combo? Have these people ever heard of spices or global cuisine?! I've heard only good things about the results of Weight Watchers, but I don't know if I'm willing to sacrifice my creativity in the kitchen.)
