Roast chicken dinner with homemade everything at my mom's. :)
NYE champagne.
For NYE dessert at our friends' place, our host made apple cider granita with ginger whipped cream. It was lovely and refreshing.
My birthday galette! Puff pastry filled with frangipani, and a Nativity figure in porcelain (I got Joseph). The bakery that bakes these makes them for Twelfth Night, which also happens to be my bday. So instead of cake this year I got a tasty pastry!
After all this holiday food it's back to lighter fare... salmon poached in a little lemon juice, with brown basmati rice and mixed green salad.
