I'm on the lookout for any books that contain the elements of both novels and cookbooks. For example, I'm thinking along the lines of
Fried Green Tomatoes, which is heavily food based (being set largely in a cafe), with recipes at the back, or
The Kitchen Congregation, a memoir-of-types that centers on the kitchens the author has known, and features recipes at the head of each chapter.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
