Tails -- KakaSaku
So this is a tiny little ficlet that I got struck with. Kakashi and Sakura are furries - i.e they have tails and ears and stuff (which is vaguelly blamed on Naruto and a backfired henge/transformation thing) The idea of Team 7 with tails and ears cracks me up, cause they are all serious about stuff and in my brain the tails act as a sign of emotion like that of a cat or a dog, fear, annoyance, contentment -- things like that.

Summary: Kakashi comes back from some part of mission and Sakura is asleep.

She was tucked in the other side of the bed -- they were sharing a room for the sake of appearances on the mission -- her hair spilled out onto the pillow and her pink tail twitched idly, half poking out from under the blankets.
Gingerly he pulled off the ANBU armour, ears twitching to any sound, real or imagined. His mind was gradually coming off the most mission high. Once the chest plate, the arm guards and the leg plates where gone he pulled off his shirt. She twitched and half rolled in her sleep. Kakashi stilled, even his hyperactive tail that never seemed to still, just like the yellow haired brat that had given it to him.
He was too old for this kind of shit. He got into bed, moving around till he was comfortable.
Just as he got himself to a half sleep he felt something tickle his back, soft and vaguely fluffy -- Sakura -- he rolled his head back, to see the pink tail, just like her hair, twisting and flicking along his back. Kakashi gave a half smile at her unconscious need for affection. He rolled his head back over and away, to wonder vaguely when it stopped. He turned back and cursed the fact that the tails acted from feelings not thought, because his own grey tail had twisted around hers.
