Are you an only child? Write about your siblings or lack thereof.

I'm actually the baby of the family. I'm the youngest of three, with an older brother and an older sister.

My sister Lisa was the oldest of us. She was also the most beautiful I have to say; I was always kind of jealous of her looks. But she was also very smart; she got a job at MOMA originally just working on the staff, and worked her way up to being one of the administrators there. She loved that job. I used to fly up to see her a lot. Eleven years ago she was hit by a drunk driver. She pulled through the surgery okay, or so it seemed, then her condition went downhill in the middle of the night and she passed on. Losing her hit us all hard. If it weren't for John being there I know I would have gone to pieces, and I know Kevin still blames himself for not being able to get there in time to say goodbye.

Kevin...I cannot say enough about my brother Kevin. Former professional baseball player, current professional baseball executive. He was an amazing catcher: not so great with the offense, but he had a great ability to call a game, a high baseball IQ, and he could throw out runners like nobody's business. That got him drafted by our hometown Orioles after he had four really good years at the University of Maryland. He was in Double-A when a back injury he suffered defending the plate ended his career. But Kevin took it on the chin, better than I would, and moved into player development. He's now the Assistant Director of Scouting for the Orioles. He has his office with the nice view and his executive perks, but what he likes most is working with the young kids. He still loves the game, and I love him a lot. We lived together for most of our adult lives until I moved to Virginia, so I owe him for always being there for me and guiding me.

My brother and sister became two really amazing people. Sometimes, compared to their success stories, I feel a little inadequate just being an FBI agent without an office or a big paycheck. But the truth is, we were all very lucky. We've all been able to make a career out of what we love. And as different and sometimes dysfunctional as we are, I really do have a great family.
