(no subject)
Sorry I've been so lax: I've been running around packing and unpacking, sorting and resorting, and basically getting ready for school to start. Orientation is finally upon us (I'm sure you'll be glad to see that event pass me by, if only because I won't stop talking about it *smirk*): nine hours and counting. I'm excited, I think. Or I will be :o) And I got to have dinner with PlaywrightTwin tonight, which was excellent. Yay for have two Mawtyrs in the city together. And CitrusStich will be in for the weekend. Yaaaaay! Maybe we can go have a cupcake. Thought I have been quite good about food, lately. I've lost 10 whole pounds this summer. Go me. I'm almost down a pant size. w00t!
I'm in "my" apartment at last, though I won't have a real bed until tomorrow. Which is fine; the couch is blissfully comfortable. Soon I will have wireless again, but for now dial-up will have to do it. Therefore, I won't be online much for the next bit, as I don't want to run up Older Sister's phone line and stuff. Will still be checking email, though.
This entry isn't very cohesive. Pity. Chalk it up to nervous exhaustion and/or just plain tiredness. I moved into a city today, folks. This is big. Granted, into the apartment of a sibling, and barely an hour away from my parents, but still. An important step. Or something.
Off to find my pjs and toothbrush that I have cleverly crammed packed somewhere. Cheers!
