sun through the clouds
Of all the times to get a cold, now is not the best. I could have subbed this morning, but had lost half my voice. Especially if I have an interview tomorrow, I need my voice. Please.
So here I am, feeling marginally like crap (though I got to sleep in a lot to day, which was lovely) and trying to think of ways to teach computers to kids. If anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them.
Last night I got to help my cousin with her college essays, which was fun in an "awww, how was ever young enough to apply to college" sort of way (not that it was that long ago, of course).
Looking forward to a lot of soup (mmm, the pointless loveliness that is Top Ramen) and hot things in my future. Damn cold, boo.
Now I'm watching Little House on the Prairie (last week there was an episode where Mary wasn't allowed to take an exam because she almost burned down the barn, which seems like a bizzare message about the importance of education, but I digress) which is cute. Even if Laura's lisp and Mary's dramatic tears are a little much.
