Of all the times to get a cold, now is not the best. I could have subbed this morning, but had lost half my voice. Especially if I have an interview tomorrow, I need my voice. Please

Chamomile tea! If you have any. That's my general remedy for anything from PMS crappiness to colds. (Though, personally, I'm not terribly fond of straight chamomile tea. It's too bland. My personal favourite variety is chamomile citrus.)
(Mondays are not nice. *is not having a good Monday either*)
I hope you feel at least somewhat better for your interview tomorrow!
Kids and computers.... Well, I have a volunteer job working with kids and technology, but it's not really teaching them to use tech (they review different types of tech for various companies and organizations). But kids and technology is an awesome combination. Would you be teaching all elementary grade kids or what?
(And OMG Little House on the Prairie love! I'm not home at the right times to watch it anymore. Woe. It's so sappy and cheesy and good. XD And yeah, Mary not getting to take an exam because she tried to burn down the barn is weird...)
Yeah, I think it'd be teaching them how to use them, but I'm a little unclear. I guess I'll find out at the interview? *shakes head* I'll just use the patented BMC bs system ;o)
And yes, straight Chamomile tastes a little too much like grass for me. I'm more of a peppermint tea person myself. Mmm, tea.
Hmm, well of course there's all kinds of software for teaching kiddies typing and such. So it kind of seems like most of what you'd be teaching would be dependent on what software Labyrinth has. (Random tangent: I totally miss old school Oregon Trail. They have a shiny new version these days, and it's just not cool. Oregon Trail is meant to be played with lame graphics. It's just part of the experience. XD)
You should definitely mention the importance of teaching kids the difference between good websites and bad websites. It's an incredibly important skill, but there are so many kids who don't know why some websites are bad. When I was working in a children's library last year, I got so many blank looks when I pointed out to kids that they might not want to use Wikipedia or Joe's Polar Bear Page for those reports.... (I'm a librarian-in-training, so I'm all about the information issues with computers. :P)
OMG, I miss Oregon Trail too! And Number Munchers! Why don't they still have those awesome awesome games.
And yeah, the whole bit about "good websites" is important, I will mention that. Because papers written with Wikipedia can end badly. I recall even in college getting kicked in the butt because I wrote all about John Dunne (as opposed to Donne). Oops?
