I'm incredibly frustrated by the amount of people that outright deny important issues such as global warming/climate change/climate disruption/ whatever moniker you name it, peak oil, limits to growth, the limitations behind our current economic system, overpopulation, and more. Hmm so there is a severe lack of updating on LJ on my part. Oh well.

Life has been pretty phenomenal this semester. For the first time in college I'm satisfied with my education. I find all my classes extremely relevant and engaging. I'm getting a better sense of what I want to do with my life. I only wish things had been this way from the start. ( Read more... )

A year ago today it was announced that Richard Wright passed away. I don't think I ever felt some sort of affect from hearing about a "celebrity" death until then. Mainly because Pink Floyd has been so integral to my life. After hearing the news I was quite sad. It was an end to the possibility that I might see them all play together live again. My car is made of fail. The day before I leave for school I discover I have a bent rim in one of my tires. It needs to be fixed ASAP. If it can't get fixed tomorrow morning I don't know what I'm going to do.

I have 13 more days before I take the trip back up to Syracuse. I cannot wait to get up there, I wish I was leaving sooner. This family is driving me crazy, I need to get away away away.  I really cannot wait to meet up with all the friends and people I know up at school.
