I don't think I really understand the NC-17 film rating.

The only NC-17 movie I think I've ever watched is Requiem for a Dream.  It's technically unrated.  They took it to the MPAA board and got an NC-17, were told to take out the scene with Marion at the end in order to get it down to an R, and refused.  Apparently it's better to not have your ( Read more... )
