Want to know a thing that's entirely awesome? Pecan pie. Pecan pie is 100% pure, unadulterated awesome. I *like* pecan pie. Another thing that's awesome? Lined woolen trousers. Mmmmm. Wumpfy and warm and rather snazzy too. Lined woolen trousers may be the very best thing about winter. A third awesome thing? Richard Feynman. Yep. Very, very clever fellow, that Richard Feynman.
So pretty much what I'm trying to say is that it's freezing cold and blowing snow outside, but in here I've got lined woolen trousers on* and pecan pie to eat and '6 Easy Pieces' to read and pretty much life is dandy.
Also: Season 2 of Remington Steele is now available from Netflix. Hurrah! Hurrah! Swmbo and I saw 'Matador' when I was in KC the weekend before last and it was entirely lovely and made me yearn for more Remington Steele.
* The lined stripey woolen trousers I bought when I was visiting Min one time, so they are not just warm and snazzy, they have great sentimental value. Making them pretty much the best trousers ever.
